About Ontario Rebate Check

Ontario Rebate Check helps Ontario homeowners understand the Home Renovation Savings Program (HRSP) and see estimated rebate amounts in seconds. We built a free checker because program rules — especially gas vs non-gas heat pump rates and bundled vs single upgrade paths — are confusing on the official sites.
What we are
- An independent guide based on official HRSP program documentation
- A free eligibility checker with no signup required to see estimates
- A connection service matching ready homeowners with participating contractors when requested
What we are not
- Affiliated with Enbridge Gas, Save on Energy, IESO, or the Government of Ontario
- A contractor or installer — we do not perform renovation work
- A guarantee of rebate approval — final eligibility is determined by program administrators
How we make money
When you request a contractor connection through our site, we may receive a referral fee from participating installers if the project proceeds. This does not change your rebate amount or program eligibility. We prioritize accurate information over sales pressure — if you do not qualify, we tell you.
