The Home Renovation Savings Program (HRSP) is active through November 30, 2026, subject to available funding. Program terms also say administrators may close or modify the program at any time. Greener Homes and GreenON closed suddenly in prior years.
What is closed vs active
- Active: heat pump rebate, insulation, windows, solar, thermostat rebates
- Closed: Canada Greener Homes Grant, Ontario HER+, Greener Homes Loan
- Federal (oil homes): OHPA is closing — last day to apply is July 31, 2026. In Ontario it is income-qualified through Save on Energy
Do not wait until November 2026. Contractor availability, EnerGuide audit scheduling, and equipment lead times can take months. Register your project early with a participating contractor.
New participating contractor registration closed May 31, 2026. Existing contractors continue to enroll projects. Verify yours is active before you sign.
