Rebate applications under the Home Renovation Savings Program must be submitted by a participating contractor registered with the program. Homeowners cannot self-install and claim HRSP rebates for most measures.
Find a contractor near you
Search by postal code at homerenovationsavings.ca. Confirm the contractor is active for your upgrade type (heat pump, insulation, windows, etc.) before signing a contract.
New contractor registration closed May 31, 2026. Existing participating contractors can continue to enroll projects — verify status before you hire.
What to ask your contractor
- Are you registered with HRSP for my upgrade type?
- Will you submit the rebate application on my behalf?
- For bundled projects: will you coordinate the EnerGuide audit before work starts?
- What is the all-in cost after the rebate is applied?
Competition note
Sites like claimrebate.ca offer similar lead services. HRSP amounts and rules should always be verified on the official program site — rebate figures change and contractor availability varies by region.
